Testing and Safety: Our Written Assurance and How We Measure a Trial
Waste Water Innovations (WWI) puts its assurance in writing before treatment starts. We offer every prospect an assurance letter signed by our CEO, and in it we state in writing that the accelerator adds no sulfur, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium or phosphate to your water. From there we build the trial the same way every time: a baseline measured before the first dose, fixed points we return to for every reading, water depth logged alongside sludge depth whenever a lagoon is involved, and a third-party lab running the samples when you want one instead of us.
We would rather show you a measurement than tell you a number.
- A wastewater treatment baseline must be measured before dosing begins, or there is no fixed point to compare later readings against.
- A lagoon's water depth changes with irrigation drawdown and rainfall, so a sludge depth reading expressed as a percentage of water depth can shift for reasons that have nothing to do with sludge, unless water depth is logged alongside it.
- A third-party laboratory can analyze water quality samples in a wastewater trial when a facility wants results independent of the treatment vendor.
- Waste Water Innovations (WWI) offers a written assurance letter, signed by its CEO, to every prospect before the first dose of DRP Accelerator.
- Waste Water Innovations states in writing that DRP Accelerator adds no sulfur, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium or phosphate to treated water.
- DRP Accelerator is registered with NSF as an L1 nonfood compound and has an aquatic LC50 of 5,221 ppm, about two hundred times its typical dose.
- DRP Accelerator is described in its documentation as non-toxic, non-flammable, biodegradable, pH neutral, manufactured in the USA and patent pending.
What we put in writing before the first dose
Every prospect gets our assurance in writing. We hand over an assurance letter signed by our CEO before the first dose of DRP Accelerator goes into your system, and we stand behind what is in it. In that letter we state in writing that the accelerator adds no sulfur, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium or phosphate to your water. DRP Accelerator carries usable oxygen to the bacteria already living in your system. We add no bacteria, no enzymes and no chemical additives. Read the letter with your safety officer or your board before you sign anything, not after.
Registrations and safety documentation
DRP Accelerator is registered with NSF as an L1 nonfood compound, the registration category for products used around food and beverage processing. Its aquatic toxicity test, an LC50, came back at 5,221 ppm, which is about two hundred times the dose we typically run, so contact with a natural waterway would be at a small fraction of the tested concentration and diluted further still. Our assurance letter states that the product is non-toxic, non-flammable, nitrogen-free and generally inert, and the product documentation describes it as biodegradable and pH neutral. It is manufactured in the USA and is patent pending. If your system has recently been treated with other chemicals or products, tell us before the first dose so we can check for interactions. The safety data sheet, the registration listing and the toxicity report are available on request and we review them with your safety officer.
How we measure a trial
Every trial starts with a baseline measured before the first dose, so there is a fixed point to compare against later. We set fixed measurement points and return to the same ones every time, because a reading taken somewhere new is not a comparison. When a lagoon is involved we log water depth alongside every sludge reading: irrigation drawdown and rainfall change the total water depth on their own, and a sludge reading expressed as a share of that depth will shift even if the sludge itself has not, unless the water depth is tracked separately. When you want it, a third-party lab runs the water quality samples instead of us. That choice is yours to make, not ours.
Designed to do this. Measured like this.
One thing we will not do is quote you a number before we measure your system. Results are site-specific, and the program works on organic sludge and organic load, not sand, grit or a failed aerator. So we frame every program by what it is designed to do and by what we measure. Designed to do: give your native bacteria usable oxygen so grease, solids and hydrogen sulfide formation move in the right direction. Measured: your own water quality parameters and sludge or water depth readings, tracked against the baseline for as long as the program runs. Permit compliance stays your facility's responsibility. We are one input to it, not a substitute for it.
What the letter does not replace
An assurance letter is not a promise of a specific outcome, and we would not want it read as one. It sets out what we stand behind in writing and what the accelerator does and does not add to your water. It does not replace your own safety program. Gas monitors and confined-space procedures at a lift station or a wet well stay in place no matter what the readings show. Share the letter with your safety officer and with whoever signs off on anything added to your system.
COMMON QUESTIONS
Straight answers.
What do you put in writing before the first dose?+
Before the first dose of DRP Accelerator goes into your system, we put our assurance in writing. Every prospect gets an assurance letter signed by our CEO. It states that the accelerator adds no sulfur, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium or phosphate to your water, and it sets out what the program will and will not do.
Does DRP Accelerator add anything besides oxygen to our water?+
We state in writing that the accelerator adds no sulfur, nitrogen, potassium, magnesium or phosphate to your water. It carries usable oxygen to the bacteria already living in your system. We add no bacteria and no enzymes.
Is DRP Accelerator NSF registered, and is it toxic?+
DRP Accelerator is registered with NSF as an L1 nonfood compound. Its aquatic LC50 is 5,221 ppm, about two hundred times the dose we typically run, and our assurance letter describes it as non-toxic, non-flammable, nitrogen-free and generally inert. The registration listing, the safety data sheet and the toxicity report are available on request.
How do you measure a trial?+
Every trial starts with a baseline measured before the first dose, at fixed points we return to every time. Where a lagoon is involved we log water depth alongside every sludge reading, because irrigation drawdown and rainfall move the water level on their own. Where you want independent results, a third-party lab runs the water quality samples instead of us.
Can a third party run the testing instead of you?+
Yes. When you want that, a third-party laboratory runs the water quality samples, not us. We still set the baseline and the fixed measurement points with you so the comparison holds up over the life of the program.
Do you promise a specific result?+
No. Outcomes are goals we measure, not promises we make. What we commit to in writing is the assurance letter, a measured baseline, fixed points, and testing that continues for as long as the program runs. Permit compliance stays your facility's responsibility.
What does the assurance letter not cover?+
It is not a promise of a specific outcome, and it does not replace your own safety program. Gas monitors and confined-space procedures at a lift station stay in place no matter what the readings show. Share the letter with your safety officer and with whoever signs off on anything added to your system.
